Fantasy Cricket Tips
After showing sensational bowling in the first Test, India want to seal another victory after facing host West Indies in the second and final test. After hosting this Jamaican game, the two teams will be looking to win with 60 important points on offer in the context of the ICC World Test Championship.
In the first test, Ajinkya Rahane and Jasprit Bumrah faced a delicate dress of Windies. They will need their first order to stand against one of the best bowling attacks in Indian history. The Indians, on the other hand, are looking for a seam to take a little further on the Sabina Park pitch offering starting this Friday. Here are some tips to help you choose your FantasyPower11 team.
Squads to choose from:
Jason Holder (C), Shamarh Brooks, Darren Bravo, Shimron Hetmyer, Rakheem Cornwall, Roston Chase, John Campbell, Kemar Roach, Keemo Paul, J Hamilton and Shannon Gabriel, Shai Hope, Kraigg Brathwaite
Virat Kohli (C), Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant, Hanuma Vihari, Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha, Ravi Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Kuldeep Yadav
Playing XI Updates:
The chemo pal is fit for the game which means they will take place in the game XI. Miguel Cummins will make way for Delhi capital’s fast bowler while the rest of the team should stay the same. The responsibility for delivering the goods to the game will be on the three men of Craig Brathwaite, Shay Hoop and Shimron Hatmeier. Breathwhite is their best bet with the opener with a record keeping in Jamaica. Ruston Chase was good with the ball in hand, though the sharp pair of Shannon Gabriel and Cam Roach remained the key for Windies.
Possible XI: Brathwaite, Campbell, Brooks, Hope(WK), Chase, Hetmyer, Bravo, Holder(C), Paul, Roach and Gabriel.
As far as the Indians are concerned, they should play the same field which has performed well in the previous game. Although there was a lot of debate about Ravichandran Ashwin’s ouster, Ravindra Jadeja quietly silenced his critics with fifty. They should retain their place in the team while the experienced duo of Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli are expected a lot.
There are some doubts about India’s new opening duo Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul, while Hanoma Vehari occasionally balances this out with a spin. Rashabh Pant was unable to perform well in the first game and will be seen waiting in the wings with Vidhiman Saha to make amends.
Possible XI: Agarwal, Rahul, Pujara, Kohli (C), Rahane, Vihari, Pant(WK), Jadeja, Bumrah, Shami and Ishant.
West Indies vs India, 2nd Test
30th August 2019, 8:00 PM IST
Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica
Apart from some bouts of four days and five days of rain, the weather should be clear and helpful for pacers. Unlike the pitch in Antigua, spinners should have a greater say in the outcome of the game. Overall, another competitive game of Test cricket is between Team India and the West Indies.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:
Wicketkeeper: Shay Hoop and Rushbant are the only options available for the game, although it should be up to the West Indian to agree to the game. Although Rashbh Pant has scored hundreds in the last two tournaments of the last two tours, he is hopeful that the knowledge of the situation above will essentially put him in a good place in the winning game.
Batsman: One or both of Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli should join Art Run C so that his ability to make big runs is well known. With the West Indian roster, Craig Brathwaite and Shamron Heatmeyer are good options, while an Indian opener should be far from the batting field.
All-rounder: Although Jason Holder is a must in the game, Ravindra Jadeja and Ruston Chase also have better options to play their role as the primary spinner on the team. Jadeja and Chase both already had some runs in the game and want to advance to Friday’s performance.
Bowlers: Indian vice-captain Jasprit Barrah with Shannon Gabriel is essentially another bowler who has been the West Indies most successful bowler in the last year or so. Even though Cam Roach offers an excellent case, fantasy teams like Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami must be the final piece of the puzzle.
Captain: When it comes to the test format, Cheteshwar Pujara is one of the biggest batsmen in the world. He should be selected as either the team captain or vice-captain while Virat Kohli, Jason Holder and Jasprit Bumrah are among the next runners for him.
