5 OVERSEAS PLAYERS WHO FAILED TO LEAVE THEIR MARK IN IPL 2019

IPL (Indian Premium League) has forecasted many team players performing skills on various pitches in the VIVO IPL T20 2019 tournament. Some of them Like MS Dhoni, Andre Russell have been consistent with their records and played exceptionally well in their matches where some players like Virat Kohli is helpless with the fortune and are unable to step ahead due to the team failures in the fixtures.

Talking about the selection strategy, teams always look for quality foreign players. With only 4 overseas spots in every team, these players are expected to perform extremely well in every single match.

Players like David Warner, Jos Buttler, Andre Russell, and Jonny Bairstow have already started making news with their performances. Players like these will play a big role in deciding the fate of their respective squads which is already creating history and will lead to a long way!!

Now, let’s look at 5 overseas players who have performed poorly in this year of IPL so far.

  • Chris Lynn– He is known for his good start role with players like Sunil Narine to score in the power play. But this year he is not seen in form so far. He treated the Knight Riders with a score of only 37 runs as his highest scoring in the VIVO IPL 2019 tournament. In the other previous matches, he scored 20 runs which is so poor to be true. It is completely unpredictable and unexpected by a player like Chris Lynn. Dinesh Karthik is doubtful for choosing him in the Playing XI and Lynn really needs to retain hi spot in the Playing XI for at least his fan base.
  • Kieron Pollard– Pollard is considered to be one of the best all rounder so far in the history of IPL. Mumbai Indian’s dependency on the all rounder was worth a say unless in his batting performance in the matches so far of VIVO IPL T20 matches, he managed to score only 33 runs. He is yet to bowl in the further matches and let us just hope that he retains the stability he was known for.

  • Colin de Grandhomme- He is still predicted to shower his performance in the ongoing fantasy IPL 2019 tournament. Offering only 43 runs in 3 matches, he dragged himself helpless in making him a part of playing XI in the RCB squad, which is in a much much need of getting extreme performances from their players as the team is already predicted to be good for nothing. Already in the match between RR and RCB, Kohli refused him to make a part of playing XI and this is the time that he really needs to put in efforts for getting his space back!

  • Shimron Hetmyer RCB opted him to be the spinner in their squad looking on to his performances in early matches other than the IPL. Though RCB’s main concern was to look into their batting department, but even adding Hetmyer could aid them. He could only earn 0, 5, 9 and 1 in the matches played so far. Continuing with the same, he won’t be able to find his spot in the Playing XI very soon.
  • Steven Smith after being banned for 1 year in ball tampering scandal, Steven made a re-entry in the VIVO IPL T20 2019 tournament. Though his team mates like the legendary Andre Russell has already created history with his moves, Steven on the other hand has not been able to open his account of smart moves. He is lagging behind in many aspects. For a player of his class, he is supposed to set fire on the scoreboards of the matches, he has appeared in. but rather he was found, scoring a low score of  20, 28 and 38 runs for the Rajasthan Royals.

All their fans and the world expect these players to come back to their forms, the ones they were known for! This is highly disappointing to see such performances coming from such esteem players.

It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as
